Privacy policy
How CoverCare stores information and how you control sharing.
Scope and operator
This policy applies to the CoverCare iOS app, provided by Infinality LLC. Updated October 3, 2026. Core policy organization features do not require an account and work locally by default.
Information you choose to save
The app can store member names, relationships, identity-document details, gender, birth dates, policyholders, beneficiaries, policy numbers, insurers, insured amounts, premiums, payment dates, original documents, clauses, health-related content and insurance notes. You decide what to enter or import. Only provide information you are authorized to handle for yourself and family members.
Local processing
Records are stored in the app’s local space by default. Local field extraction and clause searches do not need online AI. The app uses system file protection, a private local database and Keychain for relevant records and service credentials. System backups are controlled separately by your Apple device settings. Local storage does not mean records can never be included in a system backup.
Private iCloud document copies
This option is off by default. When enabled, original documents, filenames, policy record identifiers, SHA-256 checksums, file sizes and modification dates may be stored in the private CloudKit database of your Apple account, with infrastructure provided by Apple. Turning it off stops new uploads but does not delete existing copies; submitted uploads may finish. This is not original-document family sharing or a complete record backup.
Optional family services
A family service requires a separately configured HTTPS address and access credential. Connecting reads the service’s existing snapshot. Policy records, member names and recorded clauses are published only after your confirmation. Insurance notes are included only when sharing is enabled for the whole document. Snapshots exclude original documents. The service administrator manages access for credential holders. Review the service operator and its privacy policy before use.
Optional online AI
Local clause questions do not call online AI. After your confirmation, online analysis sends the selected file, filename and format to the configured service. Online questions send your question; the service processes shared family records and insurance notes. The service may send this content to its AI provider. A configured family service may use OpenAI as its AI provider. The app contains no fixed service address and does not connect to an online AI service by default. Providers, processing regions, retention and deletion depend on the service’s actual configuration and policy. Do not use online analysis or questions without consenting. Verify output against the contract; it is not a medical diagnosis, underwriting or claim decision.
Purposes, advertising and tracking
The information above supports saving and organizing policies, viewing documents, checking clauses, and the sync or analysis features you choose to enable. This version contains no advertising or cross-app advertising tracking SDK and does not request advertising tracking permission. Family-service credentials and shared content may be associated with the same family or user.
Retention, editing and deletion
Local records remain until you edit, delete or remove the app’s data. You can delete policies and edit insurance notes in the app. Deleting a policy with a synced document queues deletion of its CloudKit copy; completion depends on connection and service status. Local deletion or turning sharing off does not automatically withdraw an existing family snapshot; publish an updated snapshot after confirmation. Members manage copies they have downloaded. Turning app sync off does not delete system backups. Contact the external service administrator about revoking access, clearing snapshots and retaining backups.
Children and family records
The app has no social features aimed at children. Adults organizing family records should have authority to do so; guardians should decide whether a minor’s records are stored or shared. Do not send another person’s health or financial information to an external service without permission.
Website and support email
This website serves product, privacy and support information. It does not accept policy uploads or create app accounts. It uses no analytics, advertising or cookie-based tracking. Basic access logs contain the time, requested path, method, response status, size and processing time; they exclude query strings, IP addresses and browser identifiers. Error logs may contain network addresses when an error occurs. Site logs are rotated daily and retained for up to 14 rotations. Emails you send to support are used to handle your request and kept only as needed for that purpose and applicable obligations. You may request deletion by email.
Contact and updates
For privacy questions or access and deletion requests, contact contact@infinality.ai. Requests are handled according to the records actually held and applicable requirements; records held only on your device generally need to be managed there. Updates will be described on this page. When data practices change, the store privacy information and relevant in-app disclosures will also be updated.
